Renee has been working outpatient physical therapy clinics for the past 11 years, focusing on treatment of patients with musculoskeletal and neurological injuries. Her clinical interests include chronic pain management and musculoskeletal injuries in the orthopedic and neurologic population. Renee Keefer, PT, DPT earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Saint Louis University in 2011.

 

Renee actively participates in clinical research (within the adult post stroke and spinal cord injury population and children with cerebral palsy) providing various interventions to improve gait mechanics and trunk control. She is a contract educator for Northwestern University’s physical therapy department. Renee also enjoys working with the United States Paralympic Men’s Soccer team, aiding in classification and injury prevention and treatment.
