"After months of chronic hip pain I finally sought out treatment at Elevate and was treated by Shivani. Shivani was attentive and intuitive and diagnosed my ailment as a back problem, rather than a hip problem. Who knew! Within only a few weeks of treatment I was healed. Shivani is a miracle worker, highly skilled and I highly recommend her. Furthermore, because Elevate is more of a concierge physical therapist's office, they are willing to accommodate your schedule and will essentially treat you whenever is convenient for you. The location of the office is very convenient, the space itself is clean, bright and very welcoming. I recommend Elevate to anyone in the need of physical therapy."

"Shivani has helped me with thumb arthritis, pregnancy induced lateral epicondylitis and pregnancy induced back pain and sciatica. She has also helped my husband with his back pain. She has years of experience and is incredibly knowledgeable. She quickly and astutely diagnoses the problem and the likely cause and then works with you to on a few highly effective exercises and treatments to deal with the issue. She does not overwhelm with a long list of exercises. Instead, she tailors an easy to follow treatment program that you can do at home. With every issue she has helped me with I was feeling better by the next day! Shivani is truly an exceptional and experienced physical therapist. It is clear she knows what she is doing and that she is passionate about what she does. She is dedicated to helping her patients. I highly recommend her!"

"Shivani literally changed my life. I unfortunately broke my leg last year and had to learn to walk all over again and it wasn?t easy to say the least. If it wasn?t for her, I wouldn?t be where I am today. She?s not only so caring, but is beyond supportive! She truly cares about you as a human and only wants the very best for you. I had no idea what a challenge it would be, but if wasn?t for her and her persistence and gently pushing me to the next level, my recovery wouldn?t have been as effective. I am fully recovered today bc of her and have 100% total movement."

"I wanted to write about my experiences of receiving PT treatment from Shivani Patel. I had a reconstructive ACL repair using my patellar tendon and felt that I was never going to be close to my original form. The therapy plan was extremely well thought out and based on achieving milestones while still challenging me weekly to improve on what I had accomplished the week before. I would not hesitate to recommend her services and more importantly reinforce that she was very attentive and supportive during the whole process. From what I heard, it was an extremely long and painful rehab. While I had stretches of doubting myself, Shivani was instrumental in getting past those walls and onto getting closer to 100%. Fast forward 2.5 years, I am able to play basketball 3x/week and run pain free. I can't thank her enough for her support and would highly recommend using her services. While you never want to get PT, if you are going down that path, she is the person to call!"

"I went to Shivani when I was dealing with a herniated disc. I was in extreme pain and discomfort and she helped me immensely through various therapeutic techniques. Even more importantly, she educated me as to what was going on in my body and gave me the knowledge I needed to continue my rehab on my own. This impressed me because she had the integrity to not force me to continue coming back and spending lots of money when I could do it all by myself. She is very devoted to her craft, I know she is always striving to learn more through continuing education events, and I could not recommend her more. Oh, and she has a great personality that makes therapy fun and enjoyable."

"Finally back to pain free running. After an entire year of attempting to correct my knee pain myself with internet searches and advice from friends, I finally went to see my physical therapist Manisha. At the initial evaluation I felt like she understood my concerns about never running pain free again. She listened to the reasons why I needed to get back to running, created a plan with me and assured me that with hard work and our physical therapy plan I would be able return to one of the things I enjoy most. Within a few sessions I was running with her guidance and expertise, and was shortly able to return to my full schedule. I have stuck to her program since being discharged and have been pain free in the years since. Therapy with Manisha has changed my life. If you have been searching for someone who demonstrates extreme skill, challenges, and educates: you need Manisha. I have already strongly recommended Manisha to all of my friends and will continue to do so. I cannot say enough about how she has impacted my life."

"I would HIGHLY recommend receiving physical therapy from Manisha Patel, PT, MS. When I came to her, I was in pain for over 6 months. I had seen a variety of therapists, received numerous types of treatments and stopped my regular workout routines. Within 1 week of seeing Manisha I was pain free and within 3 weeks I was back to my old workout routines without issues. Manisha is an intuitive listener and incredibly encouraging. She has an ability to explain what is going on with your body in a simple/easy to understand way. My only regret is not seeing Manisha earlier. I would highly recommend her as you can do no better!"

We have been working in the field of physical therapy in Chicago for more than 15 years, and don’t believe that physical therapy has to be the commercial service that it has turned into over the years. We have not only acquired extensive evidence-based knowledge and skills on how to clinically treat musculoskeletal injuries, but more importantly have learned how to treat individuals as whole. We take into account everything that is going on in your lives, and understand that coming back from pain or injury is important on multiple levels. We have come to see that it isn?t only just a physical impairment that you are dealing with, but that other factors can have a significant impact on your healing. We have seen that when physical therapy is an enjoyable and friendly experience, people get better and stay better for longer. We can be your healing home away from home.
